How HRV Works

Heat Recovery Ventilation is a ventilation system that employs a counter-flow heat exchanger between the inbound and outbound air flow. HRV systems provide fresh air and improved climate control, while also saving energy by reducing the heating or cooling requirements.
The thermal energy in the stale air discharged from kitchen, utility room, bathroom and toilet, is used to heat the fresh, clean outdoor air which is then supplied to bedrooms and living rooms. The system ensures that the indoor air is continuously refreshed and filtered. That way upto 90% of the heat is preserved and waste energy is reduced.
